This is an old revision of the document!
Before you begin!
Please make sure that you have added the x2go repository to your package management system. The required steps are described here: adding the x2go repository (Debian) and here: adding the x2go repository (Ubuntu)
X2go bindings for KDE4/Plasmoid (package name: x2goplasmoidbindings
) will add additional functionality to your KDE4 Desktop. You'll be able to access and unmount shared filesystems.
You'll also be able to suspend your session with just a click on a menu entry → “suspend session”. You'll need to install the package on the server side!
$ aptitude install x2goplasmoidbindings
After the installation every user on the server will have the possibility to add the x2goplasmoid applet to the desktop or to the taskbar.
Note that the package has been renamed from x2goplasmoid to x2goplasmoidbindings in 2011/05.
